If you're someone who grew up immersed in the world of organized team sports, you experienced the thrill of competition and the camaraderie that comes with being part of a team. However, as you entered adulthood, you may have found that the short bursts of adrenaline provided by local recreational leagues were no longer enough to satisfy your craving for excitement.

That's where individual adventure sports come in. As I embarked on my journey to discover new challenges, I realized that preparing for an expedition-style adventure mission, or a "MISH," became a central part of my life. What began as canoeing trips with lifelong friends soon led me to obtain a grade 5 whitewater rafting license from the New Zealand Rafting Association. My passion for adventure has expanded to include a wide range of activities such as endurance paddle racing and touring, whitewater kayaking, commercial whitewater rafting, canoe tripping, half marathon running, hiking, multi-day trekking, trail running, mountain and gravel biking, nordic classic and skate skiing, all mountain downhill skiing, and backcountry mountain skiing.

As a multi-sport "Gearhead," I understand the importance of using equipment that meets high standards. Rest assured, I share your passion for quality gear, and am committed to providing you with the best products available.
